About This Trail

A white-blazed ridge trail along Meadow Mountain stretching up to 14 miles one-way from Grantsville to Deep Creek Lake, following a former roadbed through Garrett County. A popular overlook section off Frank Brenneman Road offers sweeping views on clear days, with winter use for cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.

Getting There

From Oakland, take I-68 to Exit 14A (Route 219 South). Drive south 18 miles to Glendale Road and turn left. Cross Glendale Bridge and access Deep Creek Lake State Park for the Meadow Mountain Trail.
