About This Trail
This 4.2-mile loop winds through the Pike Creek section of Middle Run Valley Natural Area, crossing mixed forest and open field terrain in a suburban preserve near Newark. The moderate route with gentle rolling hills passes through the 850-acre park’s diverse landscapes of meadows, hardwood groves, and creek corridors that connect to White Clay Creek State Park.
