About This Trail
This 5.8-mile loop traverses the hilly terrain of White Clay Creek State Park near Newark, featuring steady elevation changes through mixed oak, tulip poplar, and beech forest. The popular route crosses several creek tributaries and connects through Possum Hollow, offering some of the most varied topography in Delaware’s otherwise flat landscape.
