About This Trail

Flat levee-top trail along the Mississippi River in eastern Arkansas, offering expansive delta views and passing through the St. Francis National Forest. Sandy shores and hardwood bottomlands border the path. Part of the Big River Trail system connecting over 110 miles of riverside paths from Marion to Helena.

Getting There

From West Memphis, take I-55 south toward the Crittenden County area. The Mississippi River Trail follows levee paths and roads along the Mississippi River near the Arkansas-Tennessee border.
