About This Trail

Part of a scenic trail system at Arkabutla Lake, this route meanders through designated natural areas with large bald cypress, oaks, beech, and century-old honey locust trees. Loop options of 2, 3, or 5 miles are marked with colored diamonds through north Mississippi’s hardwood bottomland forest.

Getting There

From Senatobia, take MS-4 east approximately 10 miles to the Coldwater Nature Trail at Arkabutla Lake. Follow signs from the dam access road to the nature trail parking area.
