About This Trail

A well-graded route built by J. Rayner Edmands in the 1900s ascending to Mount Eisenhower’s distinctive bald dome at 4,760 feet in the Presidential Range. The open summit offers one of the finest 360-degree panoramas in the White Mountains, from the Franconia Ridge to Mount Washington.

Getting There

From Route 302, turn onto Mount Clinton Road 0.2 miles north of the AMC Highland Center. Drive 2.3 miles to the Edmands Path trailhead parking on the right. Note: Mount Clinton Road is seasonal.
