About This Trail
Climb to the 942-foot summit of Mount Holyoke in Skinner State Park to visit the 1820s Summit House and sweeping views of the Connecticut River Valley. The vista that inspired Thomas Cole’s iconic 1836 painting ‘The Oxbow’ extends from the Berkshires to the Valley’s farmlands.
