About This Trail

Hike to three lookouts perched above steep cliffs on Mount Hor’s western face in Willoughby State Forest. The overlooks reveal Lake Willoughby below, the opposing cliffs of Mount Pisgah, and distant views to the White Mountains and Owl’s Head in Quebec.

Getting There

From Barton, take VT-16 north to VT-5A south along Lake Willoughby. The Mount Hor Trail parking is on VT-5A near the northern end of the lake, with the trailhead on the west side of the road.
