About This Trail

A quick hike of about 2 miles round-trip in the Lake George area to an exposed rock summit with scenic views over Paradox Lake and the surrounding Adirondack hills. The trail gains roughly 700 feet through mixed forest. A lesser-known gem offering good views for minimal effort.

Getting There

From Schroon Lake, take I-87 to Exit 28 and follow Route 9 south. The trailhead parking is on the west side of Route 9, about 0.6 miles south of the Route 9 and Route 74 junction.
