About This Trail
An 8.4-mile segment of the North Country Trail through Hiawatha National Forest in Schoolcraft County, traversing varied inland terrain of mixed hardwood forest, cedar swamps, and sandy ridges. The trail connects to the broader NCT corridor stretching from the Mackinac Bridge to Lake Superior. Moderate footing with seasonal wet sections.
