About This Trail
A steady climb on sweeping switchbacks through large glacial boulder deposits to Carris Hill, with panoramic views of the Wanaque Reservoir and on clear days the NYC skyline. The trail descends over 600 feet in three-fourths of a mile through rock scrambles and great scenery. One of Norvin Green’s most scenic routes.
