About This Trail
A shaded 4.5-mile paved trail following Pennypack Creek through a wooded stream corridor in northeast Philadelphia, one of the city’s oldest and most beloved greenway parks. The gentle grade and tree-canopy shade make this a comfortable year-round walking and cycling route. The Pennypack watershed supports diverse birdlife and connects neighborhoods to 1,600 acres of parkland.
