About This Trail

This predominantly shaded trail follows Pilot Creek through a quiet pine-oak forest with multiple stream crossings on natural surfaces. Starting from Boyd Nelson Road, it climbs gradually through the creek corridor to the family campground, where it connects to the Grindstone and Mountain trails for a longer summit loop.
