About This Trail

Valley hike at Pinnacle Mountain State Park near Little Rock, connecting the base of the mountain to kayak and canoe access on the Little Maumelle River. Views of Lake Maumelle and the Ouachita Mountains unfold from higher ground. Free admission to this popular urban-edge park open daily from dawn to dusk.

Getting There

From Little Rock, take I-430 to Exit 9. Travel west on AR-10 for 7 miles, then north on AR-300 for 2 miles to Pinnacle Mountain State Park at 11901 Pinnacle Valley Road. The trailhead begins at the East Summit parking lot.
