About This Trail

A 4.2-mile scenic trail connecting a series of dramatic waterfalls along the Presque Isle River, including Nawadaha, Manido, and Manabezho Falls. Boardwalks and overlooks provide safe views of cascades crashing through rocky gorges. The trail ends at the river’s mouth on Lake Superior, where a swinging suspension bridge crosses the river.

Getting There

From Wakefield, take Highway 519 north to Presque Isle Road, then follow South Boundary Road to the day-use picnic area parking lot at the Presque Isle River, inside Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park.
