About This Trail
Climb through old-growth hemlock forest along Race Brook as it tumbles over five cascading waterfalls totaling 200 feet on the eastern slopes of the Taconic ridge. The steep, root-laced trail gains over 1,000 feet through moss-covered rock faces and fern-filled glens near Sheffield.
