Follow the AT through the remote hemlock-shaded Sages Ravine along the CT-MA border, crossing the brook multiple times on stepping stones. The trail offers a backcountry feel with cascading pools, mossy boulders, and a transition from river gorge to exposed ridgeline.

Getting There

From Salisbury, take Route 41 north to the Undermountain Trail parking area. Alternatively, from South Egremont, MA, take Mount Washington Road south to the trailhead. The Sages Ravine section runs along the CT-MA border.
