This 2.6-mile gentle loop follows historic forest roads through shaded loblolly pine and hardwood stands in Redden State Forest’s headquarters tract. The flat, well-graded path passes through swampy lowlands and upland forest, connecting to eighteen primitive camping sites and offering a peaceful woodland walk away from the busier coastal trails.
