About This Trail

A short but dramatic walk to Rimrock, where eroded sandstone outcrops create natural windows and ledges overlooking the Allegheny Reservoir and Kinzua Bay far below. The weathered rock formations include narrow passages and overhanging ledges carved from Devonian-era sandstone. One of the most photographed viewpoints in the Allegheny National Forest, accessible year-round.
