About This Trail
This 12.6-mile loop in Allegheny National Forest follows Morrison Run through quiet creek valleys before climbing to the plateau, making it a pleasant 2-3 day backpack or ambitious day hike. The trail passes Morrison Campground with its small beach and Adirondack shelters. A cross-connector trail enables shorter loop options through the mixed hardwood forest and hemlock corridors.
