About This Trail
A 2.5-mile trail with easy-to-moderate terrain through Shakamak State Park, built on reclaimed coal-mine land featuring three man-made lakes totaling 400 acres. The route passes exposed sandstone outcrops, pine plantings, and remnants of abandoned coal mines through oak forest in Sullivan County.
