About This Trail

A scenic 0.6-mile interpretive trail near Stowe leading past three waterfalls, six cascading sections, and eight pools along Sterling Brook with a collective 106-foot drop. Informational signs describe the gorge’s geology and history, with the falls most impressive during spring snowmelt from April through June.

Getting There

From Stowe village, take VT-100 north 1.7 miles, bear left on Stagecoach Road for 1.7 miles, then turn left on Sterling Valley Road. Follow it 3.5 miles to the Sterling Forest parking area.
