About This Trail

A quick quarter-mile descent near Stowe leads to a 40-foot waterfall plunging into a deep teal swimming hole carved through a twisting rock gorge. The upper gorge features snake-like curves cut into massive rock faces, creating one of Vermont’s most dramatic water features.

Getting There

From Stowe, VT, take Route 108 south toward Smugglers Notch. The Bingham Falls trailhead is on the left side of Route 108, approximately 1 mile south of the Smugglers Notch ski area entrance. A small pull-off parking area is at the trailhead.
