About This Trail

Rocky, rugged white-blazed loop climbing through mixed pine and hardwood forest at Paris Mountain State Park near Greenville. Deep ravines lined with mountain laurel and rhododendron lead past Mountain Lake’s old stone dam, which creates a picturesque small waterfall.

Getting There

From Greenville, take SC-253 north to Paris Mountain State Park at 2401 State Park Road. The Sulphur Springs Trail starts from the Picnic Shelters 5 and 6 parking area, about 2 miles from the entrance.
