About This Trail
The trail leads around the buildings that house the ironworks and furnace used by the Confederate army during the Civil War; hikers are also lead past the cemetery and the quarters of the slaves who worked at the ironworks. Other historic structures from that time period have been brought in for restoration and public viewing.
