Foothills Trail
Trail along the foothills of Oak Mountain State Park
This trail is typically the most quiet and peaceful of the Oak Mountain trails. As you wind along the northern ridges of the mountain, watch for large turtles at the creek crossings. The steep ridges the trail climbs makes the hiking somewhat difficult for the first half of the trip.
Length: 8.2 miles
Difficulty: 6
