About This Trail
A longer Shawangunk route from Sam’s Point in Minnewaska State Park to one of the region’s tallest waterfalls, where the Verkeerderkill drops roughly 180 feet over a rock ledge. The trail crosses dwarf pine barrens and ridgetop terrain before reaching the falls overlook. Often combined with the Ice Caves loop.
