About This Trail
A moderate route in Minnewaska State Park to a scenic 60-foot waterfall where Peters Kill drops over a rock ledge, then continuing to the serene Awosting Falls upper pool area. The wide carriage roads and footpaths make for pleasant walking through the Shawangunk landscape. One of the preserve’s most popular waterfall destinations.
