About This Trail
An 11.5-mile loop combining Gertrude’s Nose and Millbrook Mountain in Minnewaska State Park, with 1,761 feet of elevation gain. The trail meanders along quartz conglomerate escarpments with deep crevices and unobstructed views of the Palmaghatt Ravine and Hudson Valley. Arguably the most famous hike in the preserve.
