About This Trail
A 2-mile out-and-back climbing to an open perched dune 356 feet above Lake Michigan within the 3,600-acre C.S. Mott Nature Preserve. A universally accessible half-mile paved section leads to the first overlook, with a steeper trail continuing to the baldy dune summit. Sweeping views extend across the coastline between Frankfort and Manistee.
