About This Trail
An 8-mile section of the North Country Trail following the western bluffs above the Manistee River through pine stands and hardwood forest. This segment forms the western half of the popular Manistee River Loop when combined with the Manistee River Trail. Moderate terrain with river overlooks and well-maintained backcountry campsites.
