About This Trail

A 12-mile yellow-blazed loop featuring a natural bridge, cave formations, and massive sandstone outcroppings through mature hardwood forest in Wayne National Forest. Well-marked for overnight backpacking, the trail crosses multiple creeks, though water is not potable due to historic mine runoff in the Washington County backcountry.

Getting There

From New Matamoras, Ohio, take OH-260 west to Hohman, then turn left on Township Road 34. Continue past Township Road 411 and look for the Archers Fork trailhead sign on the left. Park at the small lot near St. Patrick's Cemetery.
