About This Trail
A 3-mile route along the Grand Sable Dunes to the historic Au Sable Light Station, a restored 1874 lighthouse perched on the Lake Superior shoreline. The trail crosses dune bluffs with open lake views before descending through maritime forest to the station grounds. Lighthouse tours available seasonally during summer months.
