About This Trail

Rolling through New River Gorge’s hardwood forest near Beaver, this easy 0.9-mile loop features interpretive placards identifying tree species along the route. Wildflowers, turkey, and deer sightings are common, and hikers can extend the walk by linking to the adjacent Woodland Loop Trail.
