Babcock Rocky Trail
Short but steep CCC-era stone stair connector.
About This Trail
Built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930s, this steep stone staircase connects Skyline Trail to Narrow Gauge Trail in Babcock State Park. Hikers descending through the hand-laid rock steps experience a piece of Depression-era craftsmanship slowly being reclaimed by the forest.
