About This Trail
A 4.2-mile round-trip climbing 1,500 feet to a renovated fire tower in the central Adirondacks, with views extending from Blue Mountain Lake and Raquette Lake to the distant High Peaks. The trail steepens markedly at 1.25 miles and crosses open rock slabs near the summit ridge. Suitable for both beginners and experienced hikers.
