About This Trail
A flat bayside trail along Sandy Hook’s western shore with views of Raritan Bay and the Manhattan skyline. The route passes through maritime holly forest and salt marsh habitat, with excellent birding along the sheltered bay side. A quieter alternative to the ocean-side beach paths.
