The primarily flat, .75 mile trail passes three waterfalls; the final, and most impressive, being the 130-foot-high Burgess Falls. A set of stairs leads from the overlook down to the base of the falls.

The hiking trail begins at the back of the parking lot.

Getting There

From Cookeville, TN, take TN 135 south to Burgess Falls State Park. Follow park roads to the main parking area. Trail begins at the visitor center.
