About This Trail

This loop combines the Gorge Overlook/Woodland Trail Loop and one of its spur trails, Fall Creek Falls Trail. Both are beautifully scenic and offer stunning views of Cane Creek Cascades, Cane Creek Falls, Rockhouse Falls, Cane Creek Gulf/Fall Creek Gulf, and Fall Creek Falls. There are several overlooks, including Rocky Point Overlook, Fall Creek Gulf Overlook, and Fall Creek Falls Overlook. Fall Creek Falls is exceptionally beautiful, and holds the record for being the tallest waterfall in the United States east of the Rocky Mountains.

Many spur trails are located along the hiking route, so be sure to stop by the Nature Center to pick up a map.
