About This Trail

A half-mile walk near Ludlow in Okemo State Forest to a three-tiered waterfall on Branch Brook with natural swimming pools at each level. The upper falls drop 12 to 15 feet into a crystal-clear pool with a pebble bottom, while the lower falls feed a deep 25-foot-wide swimming hole.

Getting There

From Ludlow, take Route 100 north approximately 1 mile. Turn left onto Rod and Gun Club Road, then continue to Buttermilk Falls Road. The trailhead parking is along the road near the falls access path.
