About This Trail
This 4.4-mile flat paved segment of the Michael N. Castle Trail follows the north shore of the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal, one of the world’s busiest shipping channels linking Baltimore’s port to the Delaware River. The wide, smooth corridor offers close-up views of massive cargo ships and tankers, with benches and kiosks along this National Recreation Trail.
