About This Trail
This 2.7-mile moderate connector route links the Junction and Breakwater Trail corridor to Cape Henlopen’s beach-edge terrain, passing through maritime pine and holly forest along sandy footpaths. The trail provides access between the park’s interior and the harbor breakwater area, where the Delaware Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean at the cape’s southern tip.
