About This Trail
This 2.4-mile trail winds through Cape Henlopen’s interior coastal upland pine forest, passing four species of pine trees and skirting the edges of cranberry bogs hidden within the park’s 7,000-acre preserve. The shaded, sandy-surface route through maritime woodland provides a quieter alternative to the park’s popular beach-side trails.
