About This Trail
Stretching through First Landing State Park’s 2,888 acres, this wide sand-and-gravel trail passes through dense forest, cypress swamps, salt marshes, and a freshwater lake. Ospreys, herons, foxes, and deer inhabit this Virginia Beach coastal corridor where English settlers first stepped ashore in 1607.
