Descending 295 stairs into Kentucky’s largest sinkhole, this Mammoth Cave trail explores a 7-acre karst window where underground rivers surface among towering cliffs. Spring wildflower displays carpet the 300-foot-deep collapse, showcasing the same limestone dissolution that carved the world’s longest cave system.

Getting There

From the Mammoth Cave Visitor Center, head south on Mammoth Cave Parkway. Turn right onto Brownsville Road and watch for Cedar Sink Road. Turn left and continue to the parking area on the left.
