About This Trail

Creek-following trail in Cherokee National Forest’s Bald Mountains region, offering a 4.9-mile route with 1,289 feet of elevation gain. Can be combined with Cowbell Hollow and Jennings Creek trails for a scenic 5-mile loop. Wildflowers carpet the slopes near the 60-foot fan-shaped Margarette Falls.
