About This Trail

Dramatic Lake Ontario shoreline trail through towering drumlin formations rising 175 feet above the water, sculpted by wind and waves into razor-sharp pinnacles and spires. Part of the world’s most extensive drumlin field, the bluffs retreat roughly five feet per year from erosion. Stay well back from the cliff edges.

Getting There

From Sodus, take NY-104 east to CR-254 north, which becomes Garner Road. After 4.5 miles, the road bends sharply right and the main entrance to Chimney Bluffs State Park is on the left.
