About This Trail
A diverse 5.4-mile loop through the interior of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, circling quiet Clark Lake through pine and hardwood forest, past wetland edges and open meadows. The trail provides a less-crowded alternative to the park’s dune hikes. Moderate terrain with some sandy stretches and gentle elevation changes.
