About This Trail

An 8-mile paved multi-use corridor connecting Glen Arbor to key Sleeping Bear Dunes trailheads and overlooks along M-109. The gently graded, family-friendly path passes through hardwood forest and open meadows with lake glimpses. Popular with cyclists, joggers, and families as a scenic connector between park attractions.

Getting There

From Traverse City, take M-72 west to M-22 north, then follow M-109 into Glen Arbor. The main trailhead is at the Dune Climb area at 6748 S Dune Highway within Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.
