About This Trail
This rugged trail along Maine’s Bold Coast features sheer cliffs rising above the Bay of Fundy, cobble beaches, and maritime spruce-fir forest. Hikers can choose a 2.8-mile out-and-back to the headlands or tackle the full 9-mile Fairy Head Loop through cedar swamps and wild blueberry patches. Whales are sometimes visible from shore in summer.
